Joe White Medium Crystal
Crystal malts contribute to the flavour, colour, head-retention and storage capabilities of a grain beer. They are made from fully germinated barley. Starch is gelatinised into sugars during the roasting process, resulting in a crystalline endosperm, hence the name “crystal”, which gives its distinctive sweet flavour.
